Well I've just been to Cyprus and you can't get any formula there?!! I'd take some powder hon, and buy English bottled water Evan, highland spring etc to make bottles up - that's what. My mate did and lo was totally fine x You're allowed to take ready made bottles on plane as long as the bottle is sealed - remember to save some for flight home!!
X those starter kits by aptimil were useful for my mate as it had teats etc and could all be chucked x x. I know it's a faff but you might just have to take the powder formula. You can buy a tommee tippee flask to make up feeds out and about and as long as you buy bottled water you should be fine.
As others have said, unless you want to bring a load with you which will be heavy and take up a lot of room, I really wouldn't risk buying it out there x. I've got a perfect prep and I think I've forgotten how to make bottles up lol! We are going with the in laws so I might just divide ready made between us to take. You can get big bottled ready made sainsburys and I do recommend starter pack for plane x.
I live in Malta and have lived in Spain and you could get aptimal in both those places.
