Was he perfect? No, but objectively, are any of them? Did he deliver the goods? I have been CFC for 50 years so I am on his side. But I can still recognise the talents and achievements of players from other teams. Grow up, bigots! What a life story. An out and out larger than life legend. Class centre forward and one of the modern greats - always turned up when it mattered.
I reckon some top defenders must have woken up in a cold sweat the night before coming up against him. Yes, a low pain threshold, but great guy who does huge amounts for charity.
